Sensory Copywriting & Storytelling

Tech & Innovation

How do you make a test drive feel inevitable?

This piece explores five ways to make someone feel torque through sensory copywriting. Turning a functional invitation into an emotional pull. Transforming a showroom visit from an ask into an experience. See how language can bridge innovation and desire.

Case Study: Transforming Transactional Copy into Experiential Storytelling

Challenge: To reimagine a standard automotive showroom invitation email. The original copy was factually accurate but lacked emotional resonance. Treating a visit as a transaction rather than an experience.

Approach: I analyzed the core facts (dates, offers, demo drives) and rewrote the brief into five distinct emotional framings. Each version uses sensory language, curiosity, or value-reframing to make the same facts feel like a compelling reason to visit.

Result: A portfolio demonstrating strategic flexibility, brand voice mastery (applied to the “abundance” and “unbothered” personas), and the ability to move copy from functional to experiential.
